A Great Result for Our Spotted Girl!

Her improvement has been remarkable.  She walks, she goes up and down stairs, she’s a pistol.  Four ruptured discs, advanced age and ataxia haven’t stopped her.  Want to be amazed?  Watch a summary of her progress in the latest Mamalei Update.

Puppy Factory Protest Continues at Elite Animals in WeHo

It’s been a grind but we won’t give up.  Elite Animals sells puppies from puppy factories.   Come join us and help shut down factory breeding.  We’re there Saturdays from 1:30 - 3:30.  Be heard.  Stop puppy mills!

Joe Continues to Progress

Joe is irrepressible:  His hard work and great attitude have resulted in daily progress from back surgery and neurological damage.  We’re working hard at reducing his hind leg scissoring.  We see incremental improvements, like when we turn around and there he is, standing, as if nothing had ever happened!  Check out his latest update at Joe video 3

Leslie’s Segment now on YouTube

At least someone in the family is getting on TV!  Here’s Leslie’s marvelous appearance on Animal Planet’s It’s Me or the Dog, helping dogs (and owners) with some real issues.  Watch.

E! Pays a Visit

E! Entertainment will be launching a new morning show in a few weeks and wanted some cool stuff for its first shows.  Word is out on what we do so reporter Jennifer Wilson and her crew spent an afternoon at 2H4P preparing segments.  We’ll let you know when they’re set to air.

Jack’s Back!

That’s Jack!

Jack suffered a broken leg which was, unfortunately, set in extension.  The cast came off, the leg was rigid and eventually had to be amputated.  Jack’s at Two Hands Four Paws to strengthen his remaining hind leg and to lose some weight.  He tolerates his swim sessions but LOVES his massages.  That snoring?  That’s Jack.

OK, This is Ridiculous

Teddy is an eight year old Cavalier King Charles who was literally at Death’s door.  He was paralyzed in all four legs, couldn’t even lift his head and his mom was SYRINGING WATER INTO HIS MOUTH.  You can see his first swim at Two Hands Four Paws here and from there things only got better.  But imagine our surprise a week later when he WALKED INTO OUR CLINIC.   He’s doing great, and it’s smiles all around.

Georgia and Sasha Doing Great in Their New Home

You may remember Georgia the sweet Standard Poodle and Sasha, her deaf and blind BFF Bichon.  We fostered them shortly after their divorcing guardians dumped them at a shelter (don’t get us started).  We’re thrilled to report that they’re together, safe and happy in their new forever home in Sunland.  There is a place in heaven reserved for Linda at Adoptapet for welcoming them into her home.
