Leslie discovered the healing power of water while swimming with her injured and paralyzed German Shepherd. Her success in getting Sophie to walk again set her on a new and unexpected life course. Starting with a small pool shoehorned into her backyard, next to a hot and crowded converted garage serving as an office, she eventually grew Two Hands Four Paws into the premier animal rehabilitation clinic in Los Angeles and the largest hydrotherapy facility in the world. Along the way she learned human and canine massage, veterinary technology, studied with surgeons, and achieved her certificate in canine rehabilitation. Her staff is the most trained in the industry, and her team of veterinarians excels in diagnosis, treatment plans, and client communication.
Leslie is involved with Northwest Seminars in the training and further advancement of her staff, in addition to the Women Presidents Organization, Women on Board, and acts as the CEO of Two Hands Four Paws Foundation. She is steadfast in her support of women-owned businesses.
Fluent in Spanish, Leslie has appeared in television and radio shows in the USA (Animal Planet, Fox, Univision, KTLA) and on networks in France, Ireland, Germany, Sweden, Japan and Egypt. She’s been featured in over 50 articles worldwide, and ads from American Express to Chase Bank.
And it all started with Amy and Mandy from 4H on a farm outside of Stockton.
