Physical Rehab Technician

Why I chose this profession: I have been a veterinary professional for 17 years with experience in multi-specialty fields such as surgery and anesthesia, internal medicine, cardiology, neurology, and interventional radiology. My passion for physical therapy and rehabilitation culminated in a special interest in pain management and a desire to go beyond traditional medicine to help heal and give a better quality of life to our animal companions.

Favorite part of my job: It is really rewarding to see the benefits of physical rehabilitation, particularly for chronic pain management cases. I have been amazed by the positive impact on not only the pet but also their owner, or our client, as well. This has always been one of my biggest goals as a veterinary nurse: to provide the best care and improve the human-animal bond.
