Ava was abandoned in her backyard with no food or water when she was only 4 weeks old. To make her situation even more dire her back was broken in two places and her spinal cord was severed.
She could not move or escape. Her cries alerted neighbors who called their local animal control. She is now gaining strength with daily physical therapy. With the help of a custom canine wheelchair, she is mobile and zips around happily.
Bailey, the kind-hearted Goldendoodle, is too, is an owner-surrender. A serious fall left her incontinent and unable to use her hind limbs. She does have feeling in her back legs so we have hope that she will regain the ability to walk and run. She is very sweet and crazy for tennis balls.
We look forward to seeing her progress as she spends time with the technicians and hydrotherapy equipment at Two Hands Four Paws.
